CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Chillicothe police responded to 10 reported incidents on Aug. 10, including complaints involving property damage, menacing, criminal trespassing, domestic disputes and disorderly conduct.
According to the Chillicothe Police Department’s daily media report, officers were dispatched to 86 Rogers Parkway at approximately 7:29 a.m. for a property-damage complaint. The incident was classified as criminal mischief.
At approximately 9:29 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of North Bridge Street and Main Street for a traffic accident. The report lists a violation involving the right of way when turning left.
Police also investigated a menacing complaint stemming from an alleged assault that occurred Aug. 9 in the 2500 block of Anderson Station Road. An officer took the report on Aug. 10. According to police, the investigation remains open and ongoing.
At approximately 12:30 p.m., officers responded to East Water Street for a crash. A crash report was completed, with the incident classified under assured clear distance ahead.
Minutes later, at approximately 12:34 p.m., officers were dispatched to 395 East Second Street regarding found property. The incident was classified as non-criminal.
Police were called to Crispie Creme Donuts on North Bridge Street around 12:57 p.m. following a complaint about a woman allegedly bothering customers. The incident was classified as criminal trespass.
At approximately 3:09 p.m., officers responded to Scioto Avenue for a trespassing complaint. A report was taken, and police indicated there was nothing further at the time.
Officers were also dispatched to Adena Pickaway Ross Family Physicians at 100 North Walnut Street regarding a domestic dispute that reportedly occurred at 280 Caldwell Street. The incident was classified as disorderly conduct involving fighting or threatening. A report was taken.
Later in the afternoon, police responded to 121 North Brownell Street for another disorderly-conduct complaint involving fighting or threatening behavior.
