CHILLICOTHE – A woman was arrested and drug trafficking items were confiscated along with a large roll of money after a woman reported a hand-to-hand exchange at a gas station.
According to the Chillicothe police department, a woman called the police after seeing a possible drug deal at a gas pump at Speedway on E. Main St. When police arrived they found a woman described in a silver SUV still parked at pump 2. When they approached the woman identified as Andrea Holt she immediately closed her door and started her vehicle. While police were trying to speak to the woman she attempted to put the vehicle into drive, that’s when officers reached in and stopped the vehicle, and took the keys. After giving multiple commands to Holt and being ignored Holt was taken into custody and charged with Obstruction.
During the search of the vehicle, 510 dollars were found on her person, along with several clear baggies, two with clear and white colored substances, a pill, and some leafy green substance. The suspected drug items were sent to BCI for possible later charges. Holt was transported to Ross County jail
