Arrests and Warrants
- Warrant Arrest on E. Water St: Officers on patrol spotted an individual known to have an active warrant on the front porch of a home at 438 E. Water St. Jason Humphries was confirmed to have an active failure-to-appear (FTA) warrant for original charges of criminal mischief (Case #CRB2600987ABC). Humphries was taken into custody and transported to the Ross County Jail to await a court appearance.
- Additional Arrests: Officers executed another warrant service at the Ross County Jail early Wednesday morning, made a second warrant arrest following a citizen contact on Sycamore Street, and made an arrest following a traffic stop at the intersection of E. Water Street and N. Poplar Street involving charges of drug paraphernalia and obstructing.
Traffic Incidents, Hit-Skips, and Accidents
- Nelson Drive Accident: Officers responded to a reported injury accident at 1278 Nelson Drive, with investigations remaining pending.
- Hit-Skips: Police logged two separate hit-skip investigations—one on Delano Avenue and another stemming from a call on S. Hickory Street involving failure to control a vehicle.
- Citation Issued: Officers were flagged down for a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of N. High Street and North Street, where a driver was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead (ACDA).

- Counterfeit Bill Reported: Staff at the Walgreens located at 850 N. Bridge St. contacted police regarding a counterfeit currency incident. The investigation is ongoing.
