Yoctangee Park – A woman drove her van into the Scioto river around 2 pm on Saturday by the Yoctangee park.
According to reports, the woman drove straight down the boat ramp located at Yoctengee park annex.
According to a Facebook, post witnesses saw the woman drive into the waters and ran to save her. The post claims that they were able to pull the woman to safety before she drowned, no one else was in the vehicle.
Chillicothe first responders are now working to remove the vehicle from the river.
