ROSS – Emergency water rescue was called to Paint creek for a water rescue

According to dispatch 1200 squad and rescue has been dispatched to Paint creek for two kids who were attempting to jump the stream and got swept away. According to the witness, the two children were around 6 and 10 years old.

Members along with Ross County Sheriffs Office, Scioto Township Fire & Rescue, and Union Township water rescue are currently out off western avenue in the Coppel Park Area for two juveniles who possibly entered North Fork Creek. If you are in the area and happen to see two children under the age of ten that doesn’t look right please contact the Ross County Sheriffs Office.

Update: Search and Rescue Teams have searched the entire area in the water and along the banks and did not find anything. As of the time of this post my office has not received any reports of missing persons.
