Update- Man Steals Vehicle at Circleville Walmart, Law Enforcement Finds Man in Vehicle in South Bloomfield

Circleville – A stolen vehicle has law enforcement searching for a stolen vehicle after a man grabbed a running vehicle at Circleville Walmart.

According to early reports a man called 911 when his vehicle was stolen from the Circleville Walmart while he was attempting to load groceries into his vehicle. The vehicle a Blue Chrysler Town and Country took off going North on US-23 around 11 am.

Pickaway County Sheriff’s office issued a BOLO (be on the lookout) and all units in the area staged to intercept.

UPDATE

Shortly after the BOLO was issued the vehicle was seen in the area of Little Walnut on US-23 and several units prepared for a possible chase. When the vehicle entered South Bloomfield the officer attempted a traffic stop and the driver pulled over. The officer then attempted a felony stop with guns drawn. Shortly afterward the man was taken into custody.

Mohamed Ly, 30 was arrested and charged with Theft, he is currently being held at the Pickaway County Sheriff office awaiting court.
