Circleville, OH – Benchmark Nursing Solutions, LLC, a private nursing and senior care management company, has opened its doors in Circleville, making a significant impact on the local community. Owned and operated by local resident Lisa A. Greenlee, the company aims to provide comprehensive in-home senior care management to an underserved area.
With over a decade of experience as a nurse care manager in Columbus and surrounding regions, Lisa recognized a growing need for senior care services in Pickaway County. Determined to bridge the gap, she opened a local office to help seniors in her community age safely in place with the support they need.
A Creative Twist on Senior Care
Benchmark Nursing Solutions is more than just a nursing care provider. At its office at 117 S. Court St., Suite B, visitors will also find The Little Art Gallery & The Nook. The gallery features petite, original paintings for sale, with proceeds benefiting local seniors through donations of clothing and food. Currently, “Petite Pumpkins” are on sale in time for fall.
“On the days I’m not in the field, I’m here in my office. I’ve created this space as a combination of care and creativity. Being an artist, I’ve filled this little gallery with my own petite paintings, especially pumpkins right now as we gear up for the Pumpkin Show. Proceeds from the art sales go directly toward supporting senior programs, like providing food and clothing for those in need. It’s all about giving back and making sure our seniors get the care they deserve,” said Greenlee.
The Nook is a cozy gathering space for seniors to enjoy free coffee, tea, and treats on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The space, which can accommodate up to 12 people, offers a warm, welcoming environment for seniors to meet friends, host small-group Bible studies, engage in adult coloring activities, or simply enjoy a conversation with others.
Lisa Greenlee, the heart behind Benchmark, says, “We want our seniors to know they’re never alone.”

“To build a little circle of care around seniors. I’ve dedicated my career to building a circle of care around seniors, helping them stay in their homes. For the past decade, I’ve been working in case management, and now I want to offer that same level of care locally. I’m out in the field most days, spending Tuesdays and Thursdays in Columbus, making rounds and seeing my patients. I handle home visits, wellness checks, medication management, and monitor their vitals. I also address any health concerns, assist with care plans, and ensure that if they have private caregivers, those plans are being followed properly. I often attend doctor’s appointments with them, too, said Greenlee.
Lisa’s expertise in senior care extends beyond just physical well-being. She developed SPARK©, a neurocognitive stimulation program designed to help individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia navigate cognitive changes. This patient-centered approach improves attention span, memory, and executive functioning, helping reduce anxiety and stress for those facing memory loss.
“I started this endeavor because I wanted to steer the direction of the work that I’m doing, and offer it to a larger group of people. One thing that I’m especially proud of, I’ve created a neurocognitive STEM program called SPARK. I work with the Ohio State University neurology patients and Ohio Health neurology patients. I have many Ohio State and Ohio Health neurology patients that participate in my spark program. I built it into the care plans with all of my clients, not just for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients, because as you know, when we’re going through the natural aging process, we’re also dealing with some cognitive potential, cognitive deficits, just going through the natural aging process with some Perhaps short term memory issues. So I build it into their care plans for those who need it so, and initially, when I do a physical and a cognitive assessment if they have any kind of cognitive concerns at all, we get them started in the spark program.”
“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others,” said Lisa, quoting Mahatma Gandhi to emphasize the mission behind her work.
