Located in Central Ohio, the facility marks a significant milestone for the company, serving as its most advanced facility globally and contributing to the development of life-saving medicines.

Bradway, Chairman and CEO of Amgen. This 300,000-square-foot facility is anticipated to create 400 full-time positions and boasts collaborative workspaces for enhanced teamwork. Additionally, it aligns with Amgen’s commitment to environmental sustainability, incorporating features that support the company’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality in all operations by 2027.
Boosting the Local Economy and Workforce:
Lt. Governor Jon Husted lauded the project’s impact on the state, stating, “This new Ohio facility exemplifies progress in advanced healthcare manufacturing and strengthens the Made-in-America supply chain. By securing this project, Ohio gains 400 high-paying jobs and a $40 million annual payroll, offering economic support to families and further propelling the state’s growth.”

Partnering with Columbus State Community College, Amgen is launching an innovative 18-month manufacturing apprenticeship program at the site.
