USA – Is it Thanksgiving not to have the canned-shaped cranberry jelly sauce on the table? For some, it’s a tradition but, who eats that stuff?

According to Instacart’s Turkey Day Exposé, jellied cranberry sauce is one of the Thanksgiving recipes people could go without. In fact, “Nearly half of Americans (46%) say canned cranberry sauce is ‘disgusting.’” according to the online survey conducted by The Harris Poll.

What is the sauce anyway?  Honestly, it’s pretty simple ingredients of Cranberry, High fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, and water. They don’t even add gelatin to the mix, it’s the natural pectin that’s in the berries that creates that shape.

How do you feel about the molded cranberry sauce?
