
CIRCLEVILLE, OH (Feb. 6, 2026) — Circleville Police officers responded to 36 calls for service on Wednesday, February 5, addressing incidents that ranged from a reported stolen vehicle and warrant activity to disturbances, welfare checks, and traffic enforcement.
Just before 1 a.m., officers served warrant paperwork on Island Road. Shortly afterward, police responded to a report on South Court Street involving a stolen vehicle and a related sex offense. A report was taken, and additional information was later obtained as part of the ongoing investigation.
Throughout the overnight and early morning hours, officers conducted extra patrols on East Main Street and North Court Street. Police also responded to a neighbor trouble complaint on Huston Street, which resulted in a report being taken.
Later in the morning, officers handled multiple service calls including a disturbance on East Franklin Street, threats and harassment on Brown Street, and property damage reported on North Court Street. Several well-being checks were also conducted throughout the city, all of which were cleared without further incident.
Police activity during the afternoon included civil issues referred to other agencies, a traffic stop on East Ohio Street that resulted in a report, and a parking complaint on West High Street where officers were unable to locate an issue upon arrival.
Warrant activity continued into the evening hours, with reports taken on East Ohio Street and attempted warrant service on several other streets where subjects were not located. Officers also responded to domestic trouble on Clinton Street, a fire-related call on North Court Street, and utility-related calls involving natural gas or electric lines.
Traffic enforcement remained active throughout the day, with warnings issued during traffic stops on East Ohio Street and citations issued on Nicholas Drive. The day concluded with officers responding to a trespassing complaint on Clark Drive, which was checked and cleared.
Circleville Police remind residents to report suspicious activity and to call 911 only in emergencies to ensure officers can respond efficiently to priority calls.
