WASHINGTON, D.C. — September 15, 2025 — Vice President JD Vance and senior Trump Administration officials gathered at the White House on Monday to honor the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, hosting a special live edition of The Charlie Kirk Show as a tribute to his enduring legacy of faith, patriotism, and activism.

Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was assassinated last week during an event in Utah, sparking nationwide vigils and tributes. At the White House memorial broadcast, leaders reflected on his influence, describing him as a visionary who shaped a generation of conservative voices.

Vice President Vance spoke emotionally about his friendship with Kirk and the impact he had on his political career.
“Every single person in this building owes something to Charlie,” Vance said. “If it weren’t for Charlie Kirk, I would not be the Vice President of the United States.”

Quoting Psalm 133, Vance urged Americans to seek unity through truth. “I really do believe that we can come together in this country. But unity — real unity — can be found only after climbing the mountain of truth,” he said, warning of political extremism.

Other administration officials also shared personal memories:

  • Susie Wiles, White House Chief of Staff, credited Kirk’s leadership in mobilizing grassroots conservatives: “He had an army of good people who were motivated and passionate — and they delivered 100%.”
  • Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Secretary of Health and Human Services, called Kirk a “spiritual soulmate” who helped bridge divides: “Charlie was probably the primary architect of my unification with President Trump.”
  • Karoline Leavitt, White House Press Secretary, highlighted Kirk’s outspoken faith: “Before every briefing, I always pray to Jesus Christ, and Charlie inspired me to never be afraid to do that.”
  • Stephen Miller, Deputy Chief of Staff, vowed to pursue justice in Kirk’s memory: “With God as my witness, we are going to dismantle these Radical Left networks and make America safe again… in Charlie’s name.”
  • Taylor Budowich, Deputy Chief of Staff, praised Kirk’s ability to reach newcomers to politics, while Kaelan Dorr, Deputy Communications Director, said the mission now is to “embolden young conservatives and Christians to continue his work.”

The White House tribute followed candlelight vigils held in Ohio and across the country over the weekend, part of a growing movement to honor Kirk’s influence on American conservatism.
