11-Year-Old Searches for Stolen Softball Equipment Taken from Porch of Home in Chillicothe

CHILLICOTHE – Police were called to East Fourth Street in reference to a theft complaint.

According to the Chillicothe Police department sometime between 2300hrs, yesterday and 0700hrs on Wednesday, an 11-year-old daughter’s softball equipment was stolen from her porch.


Missing was a gray/white Allstar catchers bag that contained a full set of intermediate size, 12u, Allstar catchers gear bag, cool catchers helmet gear, a black/blue Easton catchers mitt, and approx 12 Worth brand softballs, all valued over $350. The bag was in the corner of the front porch when it was last seen. The homeowner advised a sweatshirt was found east of her home in the alley that was also in the bag but no further items were located in the area.
