Teays Valley East Middle School recently received a $6,000 grant to purchase 30 Chromebook tablets and Chromecast connectors for the staff members.
“We would like to thank the Educational Foundation for supporting our staff with the purchase of the Chromebook tablets for classroom use. This device will allow the teacher to access a computer and projector at any location in the classroom. They are no longer stuck behind a computer or up in front on the board. They can be working with a small group or sharing the tablet with students to give access to share ideas to the large group,” East principal Shannon Helser said.
TVEF board member Charlie Morrison is pictured presenting the check to Helser.
