DeWine Says New Projects Could Spur 100 Million in Investments Across Ohio

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted today announced the approval of assistance for seven projects set to create 1,430 new jobs and retain 1,970 jobs statewide. During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) reviewed economic development proposals brought to the board by JobsOhio and its regional partners. Collectively, the projects are expected to result in more than $96 million in new payroll and spur more than $100 million in investments across Ohio.

Projects approved by the TCA include:

CENTRAL
CrossChx Inc. (Olive), City of Columbus (Franklin Co.), expects to create 100 full-time positions, generating $10 million in new annual payroll and retaining $6.4 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project in the City of Columbus. Olive uses artificial intelligence to automate high-volume, repetitive health care processes. The TCA approved a 2.187 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

GPS Consumer Direct Inc. (The Gap), City of Groveport (Franklin Co.), expects to create 600 full-time positions, generating $20 million in new annual payroll and retaining $57 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project in the City of Groveport. The Gap is a specialty apparel company. The TCA approved a 1.485 percent, 10-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

Radiology Partners Management LLC (RadPartners), City of Columbus (Franklin Co.), expects to create 60 full-time positions, generating $4.2 million in new annual payroll and retaining $4.1 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project in the City of Columbus. RadPartners is a national radiology practice. The TCA approved a 1.691 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

Upstart Network Inc., City of Columbus (Franklin Co.), expects to create 257 full-time positions, generating $27.6 million in new annual payroll as a result of the company’s new project in the City of Columbus. Upstart uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to automate the borrowing process for lenders. The TCA approved a 2.607 percent, 10-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

SOUTHWEST
InfoTrust LLC, City of Blue Ash (Hamilton Co.), expects to create 60 full-time positions, generating $5 million in new annual payroll and retaining $2.4 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project in the City of Blue Ash. InfoTrust provides digital analytics consulting to help companies optimize their digital marketing. The TCA approved a 1.18 percent, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

WEST
Tyler Technologies Inc., City of Moraine (Montgomery Co.), expects to create 225 full-time positions, generating $15.6 million in new annual payroll and retaining $11.6 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project in the City of Moraine. Tyler Technologies provides software and technology to the public sector, including cities, counties, states, and school districts. The TCA approved a 2.035 percent, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

LOCATION TBD
RoundTower Technologies LLC, (Location TBD), expects to create 128 full-time positions, generating $14.1 million in new annual payroll and retaining $23.6 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project in a to-be-determined location. RoundTower Technologies provides data center solutions. The TCA approved a 2.456 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
