Bryan R. “Dick” Riffle

Bryan R. “Dick” Riffle, 88, of Circleville, passed away from complications of a stroke on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, surrounded by family.

He was born Bryan Richard Riffle at Thatcher, the son of the late Bryan S. and Sylvia (Calvert) Riffle.

Dick was a carpenter and had worked at DuPont for Flor-Daniels. He also built the houses in Logan Elm Village.

He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing golf at Upper Lansdowne.

Dick was good-natured, a real “people-person” with the gift of gab.

He leaves behind his wife of 68 years, Kathryn (Mosley) Riffle; sons, Dr. Greg (Andrea) Riffle, Steve (Sue) Riffle, Jerry (Tracy) Riffle and Bryan (Deborah) Riffle Jr.; daughter, Teresa (Creigh) Mock; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Ronnie Riffle; sisters, Esther Lovett Davis, Harriet Brown, Joanne Greeno, Sherry Grant, Bonnie Forquer and Connie Hanley; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

No services or calling hours will be observed.
