Maggie D. Ryan, age 91, of Ashville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017, at Riverside Hospital, Columbus.
She was born Oct. 24, 1925, in War Eagle, West Virginia, to the late Milton and Bessie (Cline) Adkins.
Maggie was owner operator of Little Donnie’s Pizza in Ashville.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and she was also a member of Abundant Life Apostolic Pentecostal Church.
Maggie was preceded by husband, Archie Ryan (1978); brothers, Ray, Tom and Ernie; and sisters, Midas, Claudia, Phyllis, Beatrice, Othie and Elizabeth.
She is survived by a daughter, June (Jim) Akison of South Bloomfield; grandchildren, Donnie (Lindsay) of Ashville, Amanda (John) of Steubenville and Megan (Dustin) of Ashville; great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Lilliyan, L.J., Lucy and Reagan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and her church family.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan 20, 2017, at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Brother Joe Steirhoff officiating and interment following at Concord Cemetery, Grove City.
