TARLTON – No injuries were reported following a mishap with a Logan Elm Local School bus Friday morning on Tarlton Road near the village.

The bus, which was transporting students to school Friday morning, got caught in soft ground from the overnight rain and slid partially into a ditch, according to Tim Williams, district superintendent.

Williams said it was a minor incident, and another bus was called to the scene to complete the transport to school. District crews then worked to remove the bus and repair tire tracks and other minor damage to the property.

The students arrived safely at the school following the unexpected delay, he said.
