Fairfield – Fairfield County sheriff has declared the county a level one snow emergency after a half of a dozen accidents occur in a short amount of time.
According to police reports almost a dozen cars have crashed in the last hour in the area. Dispatchers are having to manage emergency crews in between accidents and some emergency services are going scene to scene without delays in between.
Please use caution in the area, roads have been reported slippery.
