CIRCLEVILLE — The Camp Charlotte Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will once again bring the community together this December to honor the nation’s fallen heroes during the annual Wreaths Across America ceremony at Forest Cemetery.
The event, held nationwide each December, is dedicated to three core principles: Remember the Fallen, Honor Those Who Serve, and Teach the Next Generation the Value of Freedom.
This year’s ceremony will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2025, beginning at 11:30 a.m. in Soldiers Glen inside Forest Cemetery. Following the ceremony, volunteers will place wreaths on the graves of veterans — each placement accompanied by the solemn act of saying the veteran’s name aloud, ensuring their legacy is never forgotten.
Organizers hope to place wreaths on as many veterans’ graves as possible and are encouraging community participation. Supporters can sponsor wreaths or sign up to volunteer.

To help:
– Sponsor a wreath to be placed on the grave of a local veteran.
– Volunteer to assist with the wreath-laying ceremony.
– Invite friends and family to join in honoring those who served.
The ceremony is part of a national movement held at thousands of cemeteries across the United States, inspiring families, veterans, and community members to come together in remembrance.
