William Michael “Bill” McNamer Age 61 of Hilliard passed away peacefully Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Kobacker House. He enjoyed spending time with his family, yard work, fishing and golfing. Bill was a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church. He was the owner of McNamer Construction Company for over 25 years. Some of his accomplishments he was proud of were completing custom wood work for Coach Jim Tressel’s office at the Woody Hayes Center, as well as the interior trim work at Vittoria Ristorante, New Albany Links Golf Club, The Glen Ross Golf Club and the numerous custom homes which he built in Central Ohio.
Survived by loving wife Liz and children Lori (Jim) Porter, Michael (Jaime) McNamer. Brothers Steve and David (Carmela) McNamer, Sister Mary Ann (Jim) Starkey. Grandchildren Molly, Virginia Porter, Dominic, Kylie, Liam and Mackenzie McNamer. Father Bill (Kathy) McNamer, mother Irene (John) Wolford, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday August 22, 2017 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY 5265 NORWICH ST. HILLIARD OH 43026. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Wednesday August 23, 2017 at The St. Brendan Catholic Church 4475 Dublin Rd Hilliard, OH, where family will receive friends one-hour prior. A private Inurnment will be held at a later date at Wesley chapel. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to our friends and family for being there during our difficult times and a special thank you to the staff and everyone at the Kobacker House.
