PICKAWAY – The Westfall Mustangs Mens Varsity Soccer team drew with Miami Trace 1-1 Thursday Night in their Home Opener on Thursday night
The Panthers took a 1-0 lead 15 minutes into the first half on a goal by Senior Cole Little. The physical & fast paced contest saw a feisty Mustang defense lead by Vice-Captains CB Beau Hunt & GK Brady Mullins along with Sophomore Defensive Back Jared Thomas rise to the occasion & hold off a strong Miami Trace side until a late penalty kick saw Mustangs Senior Captain Colton Spaniol even the score with less than 10 minutes remaining.
Ending score of the game was Westfall 1 – 1 Miami Trace and resulted in a tie
The Mustangs (1-0-1) next game is Saturday @ Western High School.
