Chillicothe, Ross County – March 31, 2024

As Ross County gears up for another week of construction, several projects are set to impact highways in the area. Weather permitting, the following projects are scheduled for the week beginning March 31, 2024:

U.S. 23 Intersection Improvement: Starting April 8, construction will commence on U.S. 23 at the Trego Creek Road intersection to install a turbo lane. The project will be ongoing, with work taking place daily. Throughout the duration of the project, at least one lane of U.S. 23 will remain open to traffic. Estimated completion is set for Fall 2024. U.S. 35 Resurfacing: Beginning April 15, a resurfacing project is slated to start on U.S. 35, covering the stretch between S.R. 138 and the Fayette County line. Work will take place daily, with at least one lane of U.S. 35 being accessible to motorists. The project is expected to be completed by Summer 2024. Super Load Transportation: On April 3, the fourth of nearly two dozen “super loads” is scheduled to embark on its journey northward from Adams County.
