WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE – A popular bar and grill says that they will be closing indefinitely after this weekend and asks people to come get a drink and talk memories before they close.

J’s Corner Bar and Grill is located outside of Washington Courthouse near the intersection of Palmer Rd and St Rt 35 on old 35 NW. They offer live entertainment, karaoke, dancing, darts, and pool. They are also a restaurant that offers Fresh burgers, Steak & Rib specials on weekends, but all of that is coming to a end this weekend.

“It’s with a heavy heart that i have to say this is the last weekend that J’s Corner will be open for business. If you want to come and get a drink and talk about the good times we have shared over the last 7 years we will be serving tonight and tomorrow only. I want to thank our loyal friends who have helped us survive and thrive for the past 7 years it’s been amazing making new friends and some i can even consider family,” said J’s on social media.

The owner said that, “the changes and restrictions being forced on this industry due to Covid-19 the next year will be too much to take on so I am moving on. J’s is now for sale to anyone who is interested in taking on this challenge but I am done.”
