LANCASTER – A photo was posted on social media around 5 am this morning it showed the front of 222 South Columbus Street a funeral home that was in shambles a hole had been punched with a vehicle, but the vehicle was nowhere to be found.
According to the Lancaster Police department, this was a hit-skip accident that occurred around 2:30 am that they are investigating. They are currently following a few leads with some of the debris from the vehicle left at the scene, but could not expand on any more details at this time.
No injuries have been reported, and they were not sure how the vehicle could still operate after such a crash.
The Sheridan funeral home is now working on fixing the front of their building.
