Chillicothe Urgent Care Doctor Arrested for Alleged Assault and Being Intoxicated at Work

Chillicothe, Ohio (March 11, 2024): A doctor working at Family Urgent Care on North Bridge Street was arrested on March 8th, 2024, following an alleged assault incident.

Police were dispatched to the urgent care facility on reports of an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with employees who expressed concern about a Doctor Allison Wilson exhibiting unusual behavior.

The officers interviewed the doctor in question. Based on their training and experience, they suspected the doctor might be under the influence of alcohol. Observations included slurred speech, difficulty forming coherent sentences, bloodshot eyes, and disorientation. Additionally, a Yeti thermos on the doctor’s desk contained a clear liquid suspected to be alcoholic.

Witness Statements

The responding sergeant interviewed the mother of a patient who had been seen by the doctor. The mother reported that the doctor appeared to be acting strangely, even stumbling around while checking on her children. She further stated that the doctor slapped her daughter’s hands away from her mouth when the child became shy.

Charge and Arraignment

A thorough investigation was conducted, and the Dr. Wilson was arrested on charges of assault and disorderly conduct/intoxication. The doctor’s arraignment is scheduled for March 11th, 2024.
