CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — A multi-agency manhunt concluded on Thursday, June 25, 2026, with the arrest of a suspect wanted for a violent kidnapping and sexual assault that occurred earlier in the week.
According to a media release from Circleville Police Chief Kenny Fisher, Riley Quentin Flores (also known as Quentin Riley Flores) was apprehended in Seneca County, Ohio. Flores is currently being held at the Seneca County Jail as he awaits extradition back to Pickaway County to face serious felony charges.
The Incident at Rodeway Inn
The investigation began on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, when Circleville police officers responded to a report of a sexual assault at the Rodeway Inn located at 23897 U.S. Route 23.
The victim told authorities that Flores threatened her and forced her into a hotel room, where he then physically assaulted her. Following the assault, the victim was transported to a local hospital for medical care.
Flores fled the scene before law enforcement arrived. He was last spotted running on foot toward a nearby Walmart, sparking an immediate search.
Nationwide Warrant and Multi-Agency Arrest
Following the initial investigation, law enforcement filed formal charges and secured a nationwide, no-bond pickup warrant for Flores on charges of kidnapping and sexual assault. Due to the severity of the felony allegations, the public was warned not to approach him.
The breakthrough in the case came through a combination of community tips and swift inter-agency collaboration.
“The apprehension was the result of coordinated information-sharing among the involved personnel and law enforcement agencies,” the Circleville Police Department stated in an update.
The capture was successfully executed by members of the Circleville community alongside personnel from:
- The Ohio State Highway Patrol
- The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office
- The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office
The Circleville Police Department notes that while the suspect is in custody, this remains an active investigation.
