Pickaway County – One person was injured after a dump truck lost control and rolled over in Pickaway County earlier today
According to reports on the scene, the dump truck owned by Lunar Transportation was heading eastbound on Dunkle roadway around 1 pm when the driver lost control of the loaded truck left the roadway on the south side hit the ditch and then rolled across Dunkle roadway ending in a field on the North side. One person was entrapped in the vehicle but firefighters quickly broke the glass and allowed the person to escape.
No major injuries were reported, the roadway has been shut down since the incident due to the topsoil load that was spread across the roadway. The expectation of more shutdowns can be expected as heavy wreckers will have shut down the road to roll the truck.
