CIRCLEVILLE – First responders responded to the scene of 1470 south Court street Walmart after reports of an assault on Saturday
When they arrived they found a man who was assaulted inside the store. The event according to Pickaway county sheriff was domestic between an ex-wife, boyfriend, and ex-husband.
According to Sheriff’s department, the ex-husband was in the store when he says the boyfriend attacked him by the jewelry counter. He told police it was unprovoked and he didn’t fight back. Cameras from the store confirmed this.
The ex-wife claimed that the ex-husband had text messaged her threatening things when he saw her and the boyfriend in the store, and that’s what provoked the attack
Guy Tenkotte, from Chillicothe, was charged with Assault
