Update – Driver Suspected of Being Under the Influence in Serious Injury Crash in Pickaway County

Pickaway – A Serious Injury occurred after a suspect drunk driver went left of center crashing into a 52-year-old Kingston woman last week.

On October 23, 2024 around 6:30 pm Tristian Stumbo 28, of Laurelville was driving westbound on SR-56 in his 2017 GMC Sierra when he went left of center hitting a 2016 Lincon MKS that was traveling eastbound on SR-56 at a high rate of speed. Both vehicles collided head sending both vehicles off the roadway. During the crash a third vehicle a 2017 Kia was hit and involved in the crash.

The driver of the Lincon Colleen Kinder of Kingston was seriously injured in the crash she was transported to Berger and then Grant with serious injuries. Stumbo the driver of the truck reported minor injuries, and the driver of the Kia had no injuries.

Stumbo was charged with Operating a vehicle without reasonable control and is suspected to be under the influence with possible other charges pending.
