On September 7, 2024, at 8:31 p.m., a motor vehicle accident with injuries occurred at the intersection of East Mound Street and Mingo Street in Circleville. Upon arrival, officers found a Chevy HHR, driven by Misty Daniels, 56, of Circleville, with severe front-end damage and the driver’s side airbag deployed.
Emergency services advised Daniels to remain in her vehicle until Circleville EMS arrived. The second vehicle involved, a Dodge Caravan driven by Patrick Tatman, 66, also of Circleville, sustained significant front-end damage.
Daniels was transported to Berger Hospital for evaluation of possible injuries. Following the accident, she was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield.
