COLUMBUS – Two suspects from the fashion place shooting have been captured in Georgia by the US Marshals.

According to the US Marshals, Anthony Truss was arrested April 7, 2021 in Covington, Georgia. Levon Sommerville was also arrested on April 12, 2021 in Tucker, Georgia. Truss and Sommerville were wanted by the Columbus Police Department on separate warrants issued March 3, 2021 from the Delaware Common Pleas Court charging Truss and Sommerville for Felonious Assault. These charges stem from a firearm assault occurring on March 3, 2021, where Truss and Sommerville allegedly used handguns to shoot at each other inside the Polaris Mall.

The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) adopted the fugitive investigation on March 3, 2021 at the request of the Columbus Police Department. Columbus Police investigators, Columbus Police Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Unit, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and SOFAST work together on this investigation. Investigators believed Truss and Sommerville fled Ohio and were in the State of Georgia. The U.S. Marshal Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Georgia arrested Truss and Sommerville.

Columbus SOFAST is a fugitive-focused, U.S. Marshals Service-led task force consisting of local, state and federal authorities including the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Columbus Division of Police, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, Ohio Adult Parole Authority, Hocking County Sheriff’s Office, Lancaster Police Department, Delaware County Probation, Ohio Attorney General Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, United States Secret Service, U.S. Attorney’s Office, Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Zanesville Police Departmen
