US – Toro is recalling a item that is being used quite a bit this week with nationwide storms across the US.

This recall involves Model Year 2021 Toro Power Max 826 OHAE Snowthrowers with Model Number 37802.  The model and serial number are located on the back of the snowthrower.  Serial numbers included in this recall are listed on Toro’s website at   https://www.toro.com/en/product-safety-information/product-recall-information.

The agency said that the Toro Company is recalling more than 6,700 snowblowers sold in the U.S. and Canada to repair a problem that could pose an amputation hazard.

The products were sold in stores and online by Toro authorized dealers, and Ace Hardware and Home Depot outlets, the release said. They were sold to consumers between November 2020 and January 2021 and retailed for approximately $1,200, the CPSC said.
