Superload to Cause Delays in Fairfield County on Sunday

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Ohio (March 9, 2024) – An oversized load will be traveling through Fairfield County on Sunday, March 10th, causing delays for motorists.

The slow-moving vehicle is expected to depart at approximately 7:30 am from Old Bixby Road. It will then travel east on Bixby Road to U.S. Route 33, where it will continue eastbound in the westbound lanes.

At the Gender Road exit, the load will travel the wrong way on the southbound ramp to connect with the U.S. 33 westbound ramp. From there, it will proceed north on State Route 674/Gender Road to Brice Road.

The route continues north on Brice Road to the intersection of Tussing Road/State Route 204 in Columbus. Finally, the oversized load will turn east onto Tussing Road before stopping on Freedom Way.

Drivers in the area are advised to expect delays and to plan alternate routes if possible.
