ASHVILLE – A standoff situation has ended possibly in gunfire.
A individual who may have shot at his girlfriend fled the scene in Columbus and was chased to Ashville. The individual may be from the area originally. Around 6:25 shots were fired and Ems came into the location.
Multiple police from all surrounding counties contained the situation and the stand off took multiple turns as the individual asked to be shot by police multiple times and police did try to taser him and he got back into his car and drove to the back of the apartment complex.
