COMMERICIAL POINT – During the regular meeting of the Scioto Township Trustee Meeting Ralph Wolfe (Trustee) announced that they were awarded 15,200 dollar grant from 2019 Park and Trail Grant from Pickaway County Park District for new playground equipment at Orient Park on Stahl Road. Last year the Trustees spent 5,000 dollars to spruce up the parks benches, covering and bbq pits.  The grant this year is to purchase and install equipment at the park.

According to Wolfe the park equipment was 50 plus years old and “shows its age. It was time for new equipment.”  Wolfe also said that in the Orient Park community there are a lot of children that reside that could take advantage of a new park.
