ROSS – Ross county sheriff is reporting that a scammer is impersonating an officer and demanding information in the area.
According to the Ross County sheriff’s office, the scammer is using Sergeant Rodrigues and asking to speak to the target person about a legal matter. Ross Sheriff is reporting that this is a scam and that they do not have an Officer that had that name.
The sheriff wants to warn others that any call that comes in that seems suspicious you should report and continue to be vigilant.
