Ross County Road Projects: What to Expect This Week

State Route 28 Culvert Replacement NEW PROJECT Commencing on June 10, a culvert replacement initiative on State Route 28, spanning from Halley Lane to Harper Station Road, is set to begin. Daily construction activities are scheduled for this project. Throughout the duration of the work, State Route 28 will be closed. Detours will redirect traffic via U.S. 50 to State Route 41.

Estimated Completion: June 13 by 3:30 PM

U.S. 23 Resurfacing Launching on June 10, a resurfacing endeavor on U.S. 23, covering the stretch between State Route 207 and the Pickaway County line, will commence. Daily construction activities are planned. Traffic flow on U.S. 23 will be maintained with at least one lane accessible.

Estimated Completion: Summer 2024

U.S. 35 Resurfacing ONGOING PROJECT Since April 15, resurfacing efforts on U.S. 35, spanning from State Route 138 to the Fayette County line, have been underway. Daily construction operations will continue until project completion. Traffic on U.S. 35 will be managed with at least one lane open.

Estimated Completion: Summer 2024

U.S. 23 Intersection Improvement ONGOING PROJECT Since April 10, work has been ongoing to enhance the U.S. 23 intersection at Trego Creek Road by installing a turbo lane. Daily construction activities will persist until the project’s conclusion. Traffic on U.S. 23 will be maintained with at least one lane accessible.

Estimated Completion: Fall 2024
