On Monday morning, FRHS humane agents who also serve the Ross County Humane Society, responded to a report about several abandoned cats in a Chillicothe home. Humane Agents responded and removed two adult cats and three kittens.
Humane Agents located the owners of the animals on Tuesday evening and served two people with five charges each of abandoning animals. The cats and kittens are currently at the FRHS animal care and adoption center.
