August 19

– Renee Richardson was arrested for OVI following a traffic stop at Speedway on Lancaster Pike.

– Officers took a supplemental report for a missing juvenile who was confirmed to have returned home in the 500 block of North Pickaway Street.

– Officers responded to two 911 hang-up calls on Evergreen Avenue. The scene checked OK.

– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 300 block of East Union Street. No contact was made, and the scene checked OK.

– A caller reported a suspicious male sleeping on the front porch in the 1100 block of North Court Street. Officers located the subject, who was advised of area homeless shelters.

– A resident in the 100 block of Fairview Blvd. reported his vehicle was ransacked overnight. Extra patrol was requested.

– A caller reported finding a purse in the alley behind the Short Stop on East Main Street. A report was taken on found property.

– An employee at Elsea’s Mobile Village reported someone had stolen a battery from a company vehicle. A report was taken.

– An employee of Rockford Homes reported a hot water tank had been stolen from a new home building site on Hardwood Avenue.

– A caller reported a female and her juvenile son were screaming and cursing at each other on Eva Drive. The subjects checked OK.

– A caller reported finding a bank card in the area of Micro Systems on North Court Street. A report was taken on found property.

– A resident in the 100 block of Fairview Blvd. reported a suspicious vehicle was in the area, and he then found clothing on the ground in front of his home. A report was taken on found property.

– While on another call, an officer was advised of theft from two vehicles in the 100 block of Fairview Blvd. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 300 block of Walnut Street reported the theft of items from her vehicle as well as a washer and dryer, possibly by a known subject. A report was taken.

– A caller reported a possible impaired driver headed northbound on South Court Street from U.S. Route 23. The vehicle was located, and the driver showed no signs of impairment. He was advised of the complaint.

– A caller reported her mother-in-law was at her home in the 600 block of East Mound Street, and an unknown male was inside the home. The officer advised everything checked OK.

– A resident in the 500 block of East Main Street reported a hit-skip accident that occurred about a month ago. The caller advised she would contact her insurance company before filing a report.

– Extra patrol was requested in the 800 block of South Pickaway Street after an employee at Jensin’s Plumbing reported minor damage to the front door of the business.

– A resident in the 200 block of Clark Drive reported finding oil on her car. She advised she would just wash it off, but she wanted to make officers aware of the incident.

– A resident in the 1600 block of Atwater Avenue reported a suspicious male attempting to open the back gate of a residence and taking photos. Officers advised the male had been outside with a camera and measuring tape at a house marked for sale. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 100 block of Gale Court reported her neighbor was making threats, and she believed the neighbor took her flag down. Information was obtained.

– A resident in the 400 block of South Washington Street reported a female was driving by his house making vulgar statements toward his wife. The officer advised there were no threats or harassment. No report was taken.

– A resident in the 100 block of Logan Street reported a group of kids took his pack of cigarettes off his truck and ran. No report was taken by request.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 300 block of Hardwood Avenue.

– Officers responded to reports of a possible drunk driver eastbound on Route 22 into the city. The vehicle was located, and the driver checked OK.

– A resident in the 400 block of Lancaster Pike reported a suspicious vehicle by the dumpster. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A resident in the 300 block of East Main Street reported a female moved out a couple of weeks ago and was refusing to return the key. The caller was advised it was a civil issue.

– A resident in the 200 block of Clark Drive reported his vehicle had been broken into overnight.

– A caller reported a vehicle with expired tags had been parked at East Union and Mingo streets for about an hour. The vehicle was impounded.

– A resident in the 100 block of Cottage Hill Lane reported her sister was threatening to damage her vehicle. Officers advised no threats were made, and no report was taken.

– Officers performed a well-being check on a juvenile in the 400 block of East Mound Street at the request of the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office. The juvenile checked OK.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident in the 100 block of Highland Avenue.

August 21

– A probation officer reported a male standing in the middle of the street in front of Gant’s Pizza, and vehicles were having to drive around him. The subjects were advised, and a report was taken on disorderly conduct.

– Officers attempted to make contact with the owner of a vehicle in the 500 block of North Court Street at the request of the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office. Officers were unable to locate anyone at the residence, and a door hanger was left.

– A resident in the 100 block of 4th Avenue reported someone stole her grill. A report was taken on theft.

– Officers performed a well-being check in the 200 block of Lee Court. They were unable to locate anyone at the residence, but the scene appeared to check OK.

– Brett W. Taylor was arrested at the scene of the arrest of an out-of-county bank robbery suspect at the corner of North Court and West High streets after officers advised him to leave the area and he refused to give his personal information. He was charged with obstruction and resisting arrest.

– An employee at Carnival Foods reported someone had stolen the battery from the generator. A report was taken on theft.

– Officers responded to reports of a fight between two females in the area of Ray Avenue at Lincoln. All parties were advised to stay away from each other, and a report was taken on disorderly conduct.

– A caller reported several suspicious subjects hanging around the Berger Health System parking lot in the 1100 block of North Court Street. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– A caller reported a vehicle driving recklessly eastbound on East Main Street from Eva Drive. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Taco Bell on U.S. Route 23. The scene checked OK.

– The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance moving a vehicle out of the roadway following a medical emergency on South Court Street near KFC. One female was detained at the scene, then placed under arrest. A report was taken on disorderly conduct.

– Officers responded to reports of a vehicle driving recklessly on Route 56, then onto Route 22 westbound. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– An officer responded to a theft report in the 300 block of West High Street but was unable to locate anyone at that location. He then marked out in the 600 block of East Mound Street but still was unable to locate the subject. A door hanger was left.

– Adult Protective Services requested a well-being check in the 200 block of Lee Court. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– Officers responded to a disturbance in the 900 block of South Pickaway Street. A stand-by was completed.

– An employee at Dollar General on North Court Street reported a theft from the store involving juveniles. A report was taken.

– An anonymous caller reported a possibly intoxicated male screaming outside in the 400 block of Watt Street. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A resident in the 200 block of Pearl Street reported someone keeps knocking on the door and then running off. Extra patrol was requested.

– A caller reported a male and female arguing outside in the 400 block of Watt Street, and they believed the male threw a beer on the female. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident in the 600 block of East Mound Street reported someone kept knocking on the doors and windows. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.
