Marjorie Louise (Pritchard) Heckler, 92, of Columbus, passed away on March 23, 2017, at Brookdale Nursing Home, Westerville.
She was born on March 14, 1925, the daughter of the late Charles Wesley and Alice (Schrader) Pritchard.
On Jan. 14, 1948, she united in marriage with her loving husband, George Clarence Heckler, who retired from Falter’s Packing Co. and preceded her in death in 1990.
She is survived by her sons, George (Mary) Heckler and Doug (Gale Koehler) Heckler; brothers, Charles Pritchard and Dave Pritchard; grandchildren, Stephanie, Samantha, Jennifer, Wesley, Nancy and Kara; seven great-grandchildren; special niece, Teresa Karshner; and numerous other special family members.
She was also preceded in death by son, Bradley Heckler; and sister, Donna Karshner.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Ginger Snaps and Columbus Business Woman’s Association.
The family would like to thank Brookdale Hospice for their compassionate care of Marjorie.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston, with Rev. Gene Jividen officiating. Burial will follow at Green Summit Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hill’s.
