Rodger Depugh, age 72, of Mt. Sterling, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.
He was born Nov. 24, 1944, in Springfield.
He was retired maintenance of Deer Creek State Park and member of the Mt. Sterling First Church of the Nazarene, Mt. Sterling K of P and Masonic Lodge of Midway.
Rodger served in the #166 National Guard-Company C.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Norabelle (Hays) Depugh; wife, Joyce (Spangler) Depugh; and sister-in-law, Louise Depugh.
He is survived by his loving children, Craig Depugh, Chad Depugh (fiance, Teresa Leach) and Cara Depugh; brothers, Gary Depugh and Neil (Harriette) Depugh; sister, Karen Martin; and special friends, Ray Trout, Mike and Sue Emmons.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2017, at the Mt. Sterling First Church of the Nazarene, 226 N Market St., Mt Sterling, Rev. Joe Proudfoot officiating. The interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church.
