Margie Frazier

Margie (Dresbach) Frazier, age 90, passed away peacefully at Brown Memorial Home on Sept. 23, 2016.

Born in Washington Township on Dec. 30, 1925, she was the jubilant child of Richard F. and Elizabeth Mouser Dresbach.

She would grow in the town she loved and become a graduate from Washington Township in 1943. After her graduation, she continued her education in Secretary School, where she learned the skills she needed to be a loyal employee of the State of Ohio for 35 years.

One of Margie’s passions in life was horse racing, and her horse, Beauty Queen, would race on the tracks of Scioto Downs.

She is preceded in death by Robert Elroy Frazier, to whom she was devoted for 61 years of marriage. Margie is also preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Anna, Eleano, and infant Frances; as well as her brothers, Gedaliah, Grover, Festus and Judd. Also preceded in death is her niece, Mary Martha Miller.

Left to mourn her passing is her loving sister, Dorothy Dresbach, who cared for her sister altruistically; her nieces, Elizabeth, Donna Jean, JoAnn and Melanie; as well as her nephews, Richard, Ged Jr. and Grover Jr.; and their extended families and many friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Defenbaugh-Wise Schoedinger Funeral Home. A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, at the funeral home located at 151 East Main St., Circleville, with visitation an hour prior.
