Karen Marie Wells, 63, of Grove City, passed away on Monday, Aug. 29, 2016.

She was born on Sept. 21, 1952, in Columbus, to the late Perry Joseph Lombardo and Mary V. (Clifton) Roese.

Karen had worked for Bob Evans Corp. for 16 years and Safe Auto for eight years in human resources.

She was a 1970 graduate of Teays Valley High School, Ashville.

She leaves behind two loving daughters, Tara Wells (Jason) Schnetzler of Powell and P.J. Wells (Peter) Guldager of Worthington; beloved granddaughters, Estella, Lulu and Wilhelmina Schnetzler; and beloved grandsons, Benjamin and Oliver Guldager and Jim Wells (Sandy Williams) of Ashville; brothers, Michael (Mary) Lombardo of Florida, Joseph (Julia) Lombardo of Ashville, R.D. Roese of Ashville, David Roese of South Bloomfield, Bruce (Terry) Roese of Ashville and Keith (Rita) Roese of South Bloomfield; aunt Tootie (Joe) Pollina of Gahanna; numerous and dearly loved nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.

In keeping with Karen’s wishes, a private family celebration of life will take place.
