Robert E. Warnock, 86, of Jeffersonville, passed away at Kingston of Miamisburg in Miamisburg, Ohio, on Friday, Aug. 19, 2016.
He was born Dec. 23, 1929, to the late John E. and Elta DeHaven Warnock in Jeffersonville.
Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Warnock.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sister, Sharon Billman; grandson, Micah Warnock; daughter-in-law, Vera Warnock; and sister-in-law, Grace Swaney.
He was a lifelong resident of the Jeffersonville community and a lifelong farmer in Fayette County.
Robert had worked at Chappell Door Company for 10 years and was a member of Pleasant View Church of Christ.
He is survived by three sons, Steven (Debbie) Warnock of Springfield, Ronald (Betsy) Warnock of Kettering and William (Victoria) Warnock of Middletown; a daughter, Kathy (Bill) Leist of Stoutsville; sister, Dorothy (Carl) Creamer of Xenia; sister-in-law, Joanne Hizer of Chillicothe; and grandchildren, Scott Warnock, Sean (Christy) Warnock, Angie (Justin) Downing, Brad (Sarah) Warnock, Shelly, Jessica and Ashley Warnock, Cody (Sarah) Leist, Braden (Amanda) Leist and Bethany(Kyle) Wadlington; great-grandchildren, Charolette Warnock and Carter Wadlington; many cousins, nephews and nieces.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, at the Pleasant View Church of Christ with Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, at the Morrow Funeral Home in Jeffersonville.
