Yvonne Marie Storts, 56, of Lancaster, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at the Pickering House with the caring staff by her side.
She was born Dec. 19, 1959, in Lancaster, and was the daughter of Harry W. And Ann G. (Mete) Young.
Yvonne was a member of Fairfield Christian Church. She was a 1978 graduate of Lancaster High School and a former cashier at Carnival Foods.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years and best friend, Michael Storts; mother, Ann Young of Lancaster; brothers and sisters, Cheryl (Rod) Burgoon of Rushville, Greg (Dee) Young of Lancaster and Debra (Jeff) Cox of Grove City; niece, Andrea (Daryn Folk) Hamler of Junction City; nephews, Jared (Lauren) Burgoon of Junction City and Derek (Kayla) Burgoon of Circleville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry W. Young.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Pastor Jerry Roff officiating. Burial will follow in Amanda Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at the Pickering House and Genesis Homestead for the care they gave Yvonne during her illness.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions to be given to the Fairfield Christian Church Academics, 1965 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130 in Yvonne’s memory.
