Keith Roger Hyde, 67, passed away suddenly at home in North Carolina on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016.
Mr. Hyde was born on April 18, 1949, in Hamilton, Ohio, son of the late Clifton Joe Hyde and Mary Anne (Streagle) Hyde.
In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his beloved dog, Toby.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Ann Hyde; daughter, Angela Lynn (Travis) Price and their children, Rachel and Renee; son, Christopher Joel Hyde; step-sons, Michael Dunkle, Aaron (Kelley) Dunkle and their children, Madison, Brayden and Brooklyn; brothers, Michael (Barbara) Hyde and their sons, David and Jeffrey Hyde; Patrick (Carolyn) Hyde and their daughter, Madeleine; Joe (Jaime) Hyde and their daughters, Lucy, Ellen and Grace; Lucy’s daughters, Stella and Eleanor; sister, Margaret (Don) Bostwick and their daughter, Amy Jo; along with additional family, friends and many others that were impacted by his life’s work.
Mr. Hyde was a 1967 graduate from Hilliard High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in industrial sociology from The Ohio State University in 1971.
Mr. Hyde was employed as executive director with Workforce Services Unlimited Inc. for 30 years and retired in December 2014. He had 38 years of diverse experience in the work force, economic and staff development. Throughout his career, he received numerous awards and recognition for his career focus of helping businesses and individuals with economic development and job creation, servicing a multi-county region.
A Celebration of Life will be held at noon on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, with a reception to follow at Stutts Marina, 571 Stutts Rd, Mooresville, North Carolina. There will be an open house and celebration at a later date in Circleville at Workforce Services Unlimited Inc. Please contact the office for more information at 740-474-7518.
In lieu of flowers, a tax-deductible memorial may be mailed to Workforce Services Unlimited Inc., (a 501c3 nonprofit), 200 E. High St., Circleville, Ohio 43113. This will continue his legacy of servicing workforce needs in Ohio.
