July 21:

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at O’Reilly Auto Parts. The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office was advised.

– An officer marked out at a disturbance he witnessed at Speedway on Lancaster Pike. No report was taken.

– A caller advised a light was flashing outside the new Savings Bank on North Court Street. The officer advised the light had been flashing all week, and the scene checked OK.

– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call from the Berger facility on North Court Street. The female subject checked OK.

– A caller reported several TVs were dumped at the Hardesty Wood Pantry on South Washington Street. Information was obtained, and extra patrol was requested.

– A caller reported a suspicious vehicle with an alarm going off in the 400 block of East Franklin Street. The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office made contact with a family member who could shut the alarm off.

– A property owner in the 100 block of Watt Street reported a garage had been broken into.

– A caller reported a mean dog was running loose in the 200 block of South Pickaway Street. The scene checked OK.

– A caller reported damage to a vehicle in the 100 block of West Main Street.

– A resident in the 400 block of Watt Street reported damage to a garage door.

– Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Parklawn Drive. A report was taken.

– A caller reported two known subjects were in a verbal altercation in the 100 block of Walnut Street. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 100 block of West Main Street.

– A resident in the 400 block of Half Avenue reported a phone had been taken.

– An officer reported a truck was dumping gravel all over the road in the 200 block of Town Street. The driver was able to get the trailer secured.

– Officers responded to an injury accident at Franklin and Court streets.

– Officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of South Pickaway Street. The scene checked OK.

– A caller reported a known subject was in the 100 block of Stihl Avenue and was not supposed to be.

– A caller reported a loud noise like an explosion or gun shots in the area of Georgia and Lynwood. Officers found nothing out of the ordinary.

– Officers responded to reports of a suspicious person in the 200 block of Huston Street. The subject checked OK.

– An employee at PNC Bank reported two suspicious people standing next to the building talking on cell phones. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– Officers responded to an activated fire alarm at Brown Memorial Home. The scene checked OK.

– A caller from Anderson Insurance on North Court Street reported a male subject on a bicycle pulling a mower behind him was blocking traffic. The scene checked OK, and the subject was advised of the complaint.

– A caller advised a customer loaded a 16-foot fence onto a small pickup truck, and it was sticking out quite a bit. An officer was requested to check for legality to drive. The load checked OK and was properly secured.

– A resident in the 300 block of Pontious Lane reported what she believed to be a scam.

– A caller reported two possibly intoxicated subjects at Ted Lewis Park. Hocking County took control of the prisoner, and a report was taken.

– A caller reported someone burning trash in the 600 block of East Mound Street. The fire was extinguished.

– A resident in the 1100 block of McGraw Road reported a package delivered by UPS had been stolen.

– A caller reorted he and his brother were being chased by a group of people in the 100 block of East Mound Street, and they were afraid to stay in one location. The subject was advised to come to the police station, but they never showed up.

– A resident in the 100 block of East Union Street reported his son was advised by a group of kids to go inside because something was about to happen outside. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 100 block of East Union Street reported a large group of teenagers had gathered in the alley beside her house talking about fighting. The subjects were advised to move on and go home for the night.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 100 block of Edison Avenue.

– A resident in the 800 block of Kingston Court reported her neighbors had been outside cussing and screaming at each other for several hours. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident in the 100 block of Logan Street reported a male subject may have broken into a neighbor’s residence. The officer determined there were no signs of forced entry.

– Officers responded to reports of a carbon monoxide alarm activation in the 100 block of Margaret Lane.

– Officers made a warrant arrest in the 400 block of Watt Street.

– A caller reported 10 to 15 juveniles on bikes in the area of East Mound and Mingo streets were obstructing traffic. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles.

– A caller in the 200 block of Westwood Drive reported juveniles were ringing her doorbell and running away. Extra patrol was requested.

July 22:

– An officer marked out with two vehicles and three subjects behind the Bureau of Motor Vehicles on West Main Street. The scene checked OK.

– A caller reported being followed by a male in a pickup truck while walking downtown near Chase Bank. The officer advised it was a miscommunication between the caller and the male over how to play Pokemon Go.

– A caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of Fairview Blvd. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– An officer marked out with a vehicle at East Mound and South Pickaway Street that had been avoiding him in the area of Duke and Duchess. A citation and summons were issued, and a report was taken on possession.

– A caller reported an argument between two subjects in the area of South Washington and Logan streets. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– A caller reported several juveniles in the roadway in the 300 block of East Union Street. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles.

– A caller reported someone had taken the work tablet out of his truck in the 500 block of East Franklin Street.

– A caller reported her dog had been taken from her residence in Chillicothe, and she believed it was in the 300 block of Walnut Street. Officers were unable to locate the dog.

– A caller reported blocks were obstructing the alley in the 200 block of East Main Street. The scene checked OK.

– A caller reported someone had lit a candle that was outside on a table at her residence overnight. No report was taken, but information was obtained.

– A caller reported a male subject running in the area of Huston and Scioto street carrying what appeared to be a musical instrument box, and she believed he stole the item. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at the South Court Car Wash. The scene checked OK.

– A subject came to the front window of the Circleville Police Department and began yelling profanities. He was advised of his behavior.

– A caller in the 100 block of East High Street reported neighbors were setting off fireworks. The parents of the juvenile were advised.

– An officer advised of the theft of a bicycle in the 1200 block of South Pickaway Street.

– A caller from Genesis Health Care on Atwater Avenue requested to speak with an officer about a patient’s family member who was causing issues and sneaking in after hours taking photos of the staff. They were advised to contact police the next time the female came in.

– A caller reported someone struck her vehicle in the 200 block of Timberline Drive.

– A caller reported four juveniles on bicycles were blocking the street in the area of South Pickaway and East Ohio streets. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles.

– Officers performed a well-being check on a subject in the 200 block of North Scioto Street. The subject checked OK.

– A caller reported four juveniles riding bikes and purposely blocking the road in the area of Kroger and Route 22. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles.

– A 911 caller reported an active fight between numerous juveniles in the area of Renick Avenue.

– A caller on Walnut Creek Pike requested extra patrol due to issues with her camper.

– Officers performed a well-being check in the 500 block of Forestview Court. They were unable to locate the subject.

– A caller in the 300 block of Walnut Street reported a known subject stole her dog and she believed it was at another location. Officers were unable to locate the dog.

– A caller reported his 12-year-old niece accidentally broke a window at Porter’s Dry Cleaning on North Court Street. No report was taken, and the subject spoke with the owner about paying for the repair.
