John Richard Cain, age 64, of Ashville, went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2016.
He was born on Aug. 21, 1951, in Bellefontaine, the son of Charles and Marie Dailey Cain.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jim Cain.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jeanne; daughter, Connie Cain Flohr of Crystal Beach, Florida; son, John M. (Jodi) Cain of Ashville; grandchildren, Leah Greene, Matthew Cain, Thomas Flohr and Caitlin Cain; great-granddaughters, Tennia and Cecilia Greene; and brothers, Charles (Betty) Cain of Tipp City, Gary (Edna) Cain of Springfield and Ray (Maggie) Cain of West Liberty.
The family would like to thank the many friends and family that supported John through his illness.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Berger Hospice, 1280 N. Court St., Circleville, OH 43113.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Blessed Hope Bible Church, 9941 State Route 752, Ashville, with Pastor Todd Hautala officiating. Family will receive friends after noon on Saturday at the church. Interment will follow in Jackson Township Cemetery.
