Oscar James Marcum, 80, of Galloway, formerly of Circleville, died June 10, 2016, at Mt. Carmel Hospital.
He was born April 20, 1936, in Crum, West Virginia, the son of James H. and Susie (Marcum) Marcum.
Oscar enjoyed working with classic cars and street rods.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Daisey Collins; and brothers, Robert, Woody, Lark, Clarence, Walter and George.
Oscar is survived by his wife, Patricia (Tall) Marcum; children, James (Tabitha), Jerald, John, Jenny (John) Collier and Jim (Christine) Farley; nine grandchildren; sister, Marie Fletcher; brothers, Wesley and Jim; and special friend, Richard Brewer.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Muhlenberg Twp. Cemetery in Darbyville. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
