Lois Miller Reynolds, 96, of Chillicothe, died 4:46 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born Dec. 22, 1919, in Lawrence County, the daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle Wiseman Lunsford.
On Oct. 5, 1938, in Ross County, she married Louis Russ Miller, who died Nov. 10, 1964; then on March 30, 1975, she married William Reynolds, who died Dec. 7, 2001.
Surviving are children, Sharon Meyers of Chillicothe, Richard Miller of Hamilton, Carole (Gary) Thornton of Columbus, Elaine Palmer of Williamsport, Vicki (Russ) Cotter of Walbridge, Janice (Terry) Manring and Steve Miller, both of Chillicothe, and Charles (Mary Lou) Miller of Hamilton; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ralph (Evelyn) Lunsford of Waterloo.
Lois was a retired school teacher at Huntington School and was a member of the First Church of God. She loved her cats and doing crafts, especially her flowers. Lois was also a great fan of Cincinnati Reds and Waterloo Wonders.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2016, at the Ware Funeral Home, Chillicothe, with Rev. Matt Roe officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
